Well, WTH is all this guacamole stuff all about... Let me tell you about it...
I've been designing and developing websites for going on 17 years now. WOW. Yes, we had the internet back then in the olden days! As many tradesmen know, it is often their own project that is left to wither while he is attending to other 'more important' projects - namely, yours... the customer. Well, this has been my plight and I recently decided to redesign my site... again. As I began to work on the new design, functionality, content, etc., I thought I'd treat myself as one of my clients and take me through the same process I take them.
Then I thought, wouldn't it be fun to share the process with John Q. Public to demonstrate how it all works. And my answer to myself was YES! That would be fun. (Yes, I'm geeky. It's out.) So one thing led to another and here I am!
But,"Guacamole Live?" you say. As I was thinking about this "live" project that I'm embarking on "Guacamole Live" from On The Border restaurant popped into my brain... maybe I was hungry. idk. The reason is because they come to your table and make the guac right there, LIVE, in front of your very eyes! Anyway, this is live, the guacamole is live, I like guacamole, I like Drupal... it all sort of fits together. (Just got to get that margarita in there...)
OK, so what if someone wanted really go to my 'real' site? Well, it's right here, behind the guacamole....visit my old site, or my new live-in-the-making site. Take your pick! I have to warn you, my old site is a bit out of date, but you can still find out about me and what I do. On my live-in-the-making site you will see blog posts that tell about what the heck I'm thinking and how I'm doing it. I welcome your thoughts and input. Has this been done before... heck! It's the internet - I'm not sure if there is anything new any more!
Head on over to the Old Me, or head on over the the New Me (to be). If you need to ask a question feel free to do it over there at the old place, or down yonder in the new place or right here in the middle place...
Thanks for the chat! Kathy
